This is just scat humor...

...but it's really, really funny scat humor.

good job.

Eh.

I have to honestly say, that this flash is the perfect example of the following thought; that extreme close-mindedness, while bad, is at the same time no more open-minded than the extreme opposition to extreme close-mindedness, the latter of which seems to be very prominent in this flash.

Okay, so you don't like the government, I got that far. But I doubt highly that "extreme measures" are what it'll take to fix the country, because in a functioning universe, the thought of two wrongs not making a right still applies.

Not only that, but the animation, although rather fluid and complete, really irked me because despite all the attempts at uniqueness in the character design with pineapple-mushroom heads running around, I couldn't shake the overwhelming idea that I was watching something from Invader Zim. The eyes, the mouths, it was honestly reeking of that animation style, which, taking into account the nature of Invader Zim and other Jhonen Vasquez works, makes me groan in disappointment.

And all this combined with a classic protest song is compounded further into my theory that while it may not be okay to be some Yankee-doodle-apple-pie-cramming-gun-
toting-yippidee-yayhoo, it is equally not okay to be some 14-year-old-screw-the-establishment-a narchistic-ne'er-do-well who backs his watery opinions with a quote from a dictionary and Network.

So, yea. the animation (style aside) wasn't terrible, and neither was the song. Sadly, everything else was.

cyberen responds:

I'm glad you groaned. Thanks for giving me that satisfaction.

Here's to the start of something big

This is just fantastic. Very well-organized and brought out with some kickass animation to boot. The lack of dialogue also helped; actions speak louder than words I guess.

Favorite part had to've been the intermission, where the guy (Ravi?) is staring out towards the horizon; Went very well with the music.

So again, congratulations, great job, keep 'em coming.

Holy Onomotopoeia.

That was awesome. The jokes were timed really well, methinks. The sounds got a little stale- You recycled a few here and there, and there's always, y'know, that nasty light background noise people always get when recording.

Other than that, very vera nice. The graphics were kickin' and you improved a LOT with your lipsynching.

Keep it up. Do it now.

"Bring me 5 teenagers with attitude!"

Dude, that was totally teh winnar. I couldn't stop laughing, and the voices were freaking awesome. Cailen does a good flamboyant snail. The sound and the jokes were the definate keystones of this dealie, and you did an awesome job.

....also, is it bad that I sang along with the credits? XD

....Wow.

It was good, but.. the voices and general zany character dynamics made me feel like I was watching something from 4Kids.

Good Job, keep it up.

Good animation. Sound was a bit loud, but didn't take away from the movie. The concept was pretty cute and seemed to follow the actual intro pretty well; The synching had practically no errors in it.

Job well done. Keep up the awesome.

Wait a sec..

First off, okay animation. It seems rushed, but that's a given.

Secondly, wasn't the god of the sun Helios? And the god of the night was Selene? Or maybe they just alternated chariots once in a while.

Vaztor responds:

Yes Animation was rushed

And I believe that Helios and Apollo were BOTH God of the Sun. I was going to include that in my flash but never got around to it

KtG, a winner is you!

Hey Kine. This is Fier. Awesome job. I haven't seen you submit a full-on-awesometized flash from you for a while. But this definately takes the cake. I am jealous of your FbF skills.

Only minor complaint is that the music fades out a little to early. But it may just be me.

Anyway, keep up the awesome work. *rewards with cookies*

Your work speaks to me, as well as many others.

This was incredible. This is a true production of quality. With the sun Eclipsing Effects, and the dramatic music, this is truly weaved into a masterpiece showing the futility of war and to what ends the leaders of nations will go to be victorious, regardless of innocent casualty. Also, the ambiguity of the Parallel Earth and the different-speaking peoples was a nice touch.

Good work. Again.

You know, it's really not so much magic as it is putting pennies over your eyes.
