Eh.
I have to honestly say, that this flash is the perfect example of the following thought; that extreme close-mindedness, while bad, is at the same time no more open-minded than the extreme opposition to extreme close-mindedness, the latter of which seems to be very prominent in this flash.
Okay, so you don't like the government, I got that far. But I doubt highly that "extreme measures" are what it'll take to fix the country, because in a functioning universe, the thought of two wrongs not making a right still applies.
Not only that, but the animation, although rather fluid and complete, really irked me because despite all the attempts at uniqueness in the character design with pineapple-mushroom heads running around, I couldn't shake the overwhelming idea that I was watching something from Invader Zim. The eyes, the mouths, it was honestly reeking of that animation style, which, taking into account the nature of Invader Zim and other Jhonen Vasquez works, makes me groan in disappointment.
And all this combined with a classic protest song is compounded further into my theory that while it may not be okay to be some Yankee-doodle-apple-pie-cramming-gun-
toting-yippidee-yayhoo, it is equally not okay to be some 14-year-old-screw-the-establishment-a narchistic-ne'er-do-well who backs his watery opinions with a quote from a dictionary and Network.
So, yea. the animation (style aside) wasn't terrible, and neither was the song. Sadly, everything else was.
